Dr. Jessy Kang
CEO & Founder
With a vision to create a better person-centred aging care experience, Dr. Jessy Shih-Chung Kang is an entrepreneur and scholar founding Jubo Health Technologies (Smart Ageing Technologies Ltd.) in 2018. Backed by capital investors, Dr. Kang established operations in Taipei, Taiwan, with a dedicated team of experts to develop solution-focused technologies to enhance senior care internationally.
In 2020, operations expanded to North America. Today, Dr. Kang leads Jubo's global team from our Taipei, Taiwan headquarters, with established operations in North America and Asia Pacific.
Dr. Kang holds a Ph.D. from Stanford University and worked as an adjunct professor at National Taiwan University from 2006 to 2018. In 2018, Dr. Kang became a professor at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada where he established an AI and robotics lab (AIRCon-Lab) to support interdisciplinary research to introduce robotics to construction sites. Dr. Kang has published five textbooks, over 100 papers and multiple patents on smart technologies, including sensing and artificial intelligence.
